early christmas

hey guys. this is 1 of the best days i could remember. ok i have a 92 integra rs, b18a1 engine right. now i never wanted to swap engines since i never had the money and time but after what happened i know you guys would do the same. i went to hunts point which is a junk yard heaven for most of us in new york. i was looking for a new hood lock for my car b/c it wasn't closing right. now i entered this place where i rarely go since they only sell whole cars and never parts. i'm looking and i notice a white 99 integra type-r a few cars back. body was alittle damaged from one side but i was curious since i noticed it still had its 2 front seats, black velour/red stitching. i looked around thinking the motor was already taken out since these motors are popular. i look under the hood and to my surprise the motor is still there. not only that but the engine seems to still be stock. no intake, no headers, stock to the plain eye. i ask the man in charge how much for the car. now i've heard the engine alone goes for $3-4,000. so im looking for around that amount. the person tells me $1500. i'm like what. i brought one of my boys who knows more about cars that i do to check it out. he said the engine seems perfect. i bought the car salvage title and now i have it parked in my garage ready to swap. match made in heaven don't you think, 92 integ with type-r engine. now here's the part where i need your guys help. will my existing motor mounts fit, do i need new harness, any body change i have to do, anyone could give the complete 411 on what has to be done in order for the swap to be complete. i know im going to need a new parts like tranny, flywheel, distributor, which ones are best for my car and for my pocket. oh yeah, im going all motor no turbo or nos. someone help a happy man. lol

Re: early christmas

Do you want to sell some of the interior? I can meet you in White Plains or even at your house if you want me to pick items up. I'm looking to get the seats and anything else I can swap in my 2000 ls.....fISH
