Question All Wheel Drive CRX

I was wondering if anyone here has ever seen or heard of anyone making an all wheel drive CRX. I am planning on that type of drivetrain whith my B20 setup.

Thanks.

too much work for such a little gain
honda awd aint the best. i would rather put the money into a good suspension and tires

I agree with Jetts. AWD hondas suck! You gonna keep blow'n out the rear differential! Its not worth it. If you want an AWD..get an EVO or WRX

Re: All Wheel Drive CRX

we are putting a dart motor in my friends 91 rex gonna make it awd because its the only way we will be able to get all the power to the ground - so we are using either a s2000 or a crv rear.... it is totally needed when we are gonna be pushin approx. 950 with nitrous an 750 with out...new syncrs. ect.... it will be sick when its dont i will be sure to post pics for you guys....

you can use CVR and civic wagon parts, but neither one are very strong. There are ways of getting traction that would be more logical, but hell I wouldnt mind haveing an AWD civic either.

Re: All Wheel Drive CRX

woo 4 wheel burnouts! and some reason I highly doubt a setup made to take 110 hp is going to be able to handle 750... you may want to look into aftermarket 4 wheel systems from off roaders and do some custom work that way...

Re: All Wheel Drive CRX

when you have awd you dont burn out - its stupid an pointless..because you dont need to get the tires warm to get a good launch - obviously you didnt know that ..... an we are not using the gearin in the rear an the same trans gears an syncros because of course they will not be able to handle the power - your right at that... an i dont know if any1 knows abou dart blocks but ya should they are capable of gettin 1000+hp with a selection of big bore small bore . and a high an low - we are not just putting a fuckin intake an rice can on it -this is going to be fondled with 50k limit everything is gettin completely redone .... dont worry there will be pictures

Re: All Wheel Drive CRX

negative post:
if i had $50,000, i'd buy a duplex, rent it out till its paid for, and then the money you get after that is all profit...

then i'd save up $50,000 and then do whatever i want to whatever car i want

srry but that's just a waste of $50,000, go buy a supra

positive post:
in ur 50k budget don't forget to put projector headlights on it
