2 seater Z32TT VS GTRs

we all know dat Skyline GTRs are fastest Jap cars...they can beat Z32TT...wat i wana know is are they much faster then the Z32TT...or just ABIT faster then the Z32TT..i belive they are only ABIT faster then the Z32TT...coz GTRs and Z32TT have the same amount of power...but GTRs have more advantage coz the turbos are slightly bigger,lighter body weight and have 4 wheel drive...so i believe they are only abit faster then the Z32TT...share ur thought guys

i think the skyline GTR runs a good low 13 high 12 stock if im not mistaken. i think i read that somewhere. if this is true then the skyline is quite a bit faster.

also, while we are comparing skyline to z32. how hard would it be to switch over the manual tranny of the r32 GTR and the z32TT. would you just have to swap tranny and custom make some mounts? does it bolt up at all? custom rear end? share thoughts. not a big deal, just i was wandering thought basically.

A few corrections are necessary here. First of all, the Skyline GT-R is not the fastest Japanese car. It's close, but I believe the Supra RZ is faster. The new Lancer Evo 8 MR may be faster as well. And let's not forget the Impreza 22B STi.

Second of all, I'm pretty sure the GT-R makes more power than the 300ZX TT (although they are rated the same from the factory due to a Japanese gentleman's agreement). It's faster in the quarter mile mainly because of AWD and shorter gearing. Also, the GT-R is not lighter than the 300ZX TT - it's actually a couple hundred pounds heavier.

for the DRAG a GTR runs 12.9 on average. for the Z they run a 13.5 at best.

for circuit racing. when the R32 GT-R first debut they had a track battle with the Z. and the Z was 3 seconds behind. by the 5th lap you couldn't even see the Z anymore. the Z was like one long straight away and one whole corner behind.

and the newer R34 laps around 3 seconds faster then the R32. so thats a total of a whopping 6 seconds over a Z32 in a small track such as Tsukuba. which was where those things battles were taken place. i would link you the video. but the site is down. however i have it at home. if you want it i can upload it to you via AIM. for my sn private message me.
