Unfortunately there’s not a lot that can be done to produce tremendous amounts of power (unless of course you want to spend HUGE amounts of money on a turbo ). I’ve got a 2 ¼” catless exhaust on mine and have also added a Trust pod filter (not sure if the pod has produced any more power, but it sounds REALLY sweet! ).

The other option is RPW are in the process of developing headers for the V6 FTO (at the moment I believe it is in the trial stages so not sure what amount of extra power these will give).

Probably haven’t been of much help to you, but believe me I’ve been down the same road as you trying to find extra power.

Welcome to AF by the way!

Dammit, I just read that you have a GR FTO. I assumed by your name that you had a GPX.

Not sure if my info will be of any help at all to you.

Exclamation More power....

There is a guy over here in the UK with a Supercharger for it but it's not been tested with a 4 speed tip. The other option is a NOS system, but again for the 100bhp I believe a computer is required to up the input from 40% to 100% over a 5 sec period to stop the gear box shredding.

Not sure on all the technical details. Just know that they both exist.

If you wanna see a 300bhp turbo'ed FTO, go to..

If you want advice on your FTO, join the FTO Mailing Group of Australia (I read that you live in Australia). The people on there are REALLY helpful, I'm a member (my sister has an FTO), and they're really helpful.
They'll help with servicing, purchasing parts, and give you a whole bunch of other info.

They sometimes meet up on and go for cruises and have some illegal drags (I met up with them once - SCARY). From what I've read from the e-mails, there's an FTO with a 75hp Nitrous kit, and even a few turbocharged FTO's (one owner claims to be able to run high 11's).

Just go to the following homepage to join:

Enjoy!
