I'm 5'4 and was wondering which bike would be better. The suzuki gsx-r6
or the honda cbr 600.

you'd have to try them out for size yourself. they are all the "right"size for you but it depends on wether you have longer arms or legs and size at the gut

To me, the R6/R1 seemed trimmed compared to Suzuki or Kawasaki 600s, they have massive gas-tanks.

Re: to short?

I'm with Blayne. You've got to sit on different ones and see which fits you best.

Re: to short?

Lowering a bike changes it's center of balance and handling.

Re: to short?

If your gonna lower a 600 SS bike than you are completely defeating the purpose of the bike. I know short people that ride and they just deal with it.

I don't want to lower any bike. just asking which bike might of felt better. i feel better riding the cbr600 i have no problem laying my knee down but then on a gsxr6 i like cruising with it but dont feel comfortable laying my knee down.

it will all come together for you on one bike. i hated the 96 gixer (below) but once i rode it it was like i was part of it. so comfy and it did whatever i asked. still hated the style compared to others at the time but i performed better on it and i felt safe
