Question 1989 T-2...fuel relay?

New fuel pump installed. Worked fine for 1 week. Engine turns over, but will not start. A shot of ether , she turns over. All fuses are OK. Put 12 volts to the pump,OK. Could it be the relay ? Stuck at my Buddies garage.

I have similar problem. Turns over fine. Spark is good. Fires up with ether, but won't run. gas fumes from tail pipe, did you ever get it going? seems to die with cold weather change.

Is the check engine on solid even after crancking. I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a bypass cable fuse in the front of the engine by the battery cable (small black box - cable like fuses inside). Check them with a volt meter even if they look fine. This problem drove me crazy for a week or so even though I inspected them visually.

Good luck!

Hey! guess what happened? My connecting link from my fuel pump to my fuel tank was faulty. Wired it direct removing the connector. Never had a problem since. It is on the right rear tire well. Good Luck and Have fun!!

Yes, it was the connecting link from my fuel pump. Located at right rear wheel well. Removed link and wired direct. Not a problem since. I hope this is helpful.
