1999 camry alarm reset

I read a few posts on alarm resets on some modules. DOes anyone know how to reset the alarm in a 1999 camry model. Also what is the alarm type in this model?


Mine is on silent alarm wondering if there is a way to get a beep/chirp when I lock the car !!

Is it the factory alarm?

Sorry, can't help much on the factory unit. It should be listed in the owner's manual though.

Unfortunately there is nothing about it in the owners manual. I dont care about the reset ( can be done using the dome fuse). I need to know if there is a way to turn the beep on when locking/unlocking more importantly.

I had this same problem. if you have a remote for the alarm hold the unlock and lock button until the alarm churps
