PCV valve location

Can anyone tell me where the PCV valve is located on 1998 Intrigue?

sure - it's in a weird location - underneath the MAP sensor near the front of the engine, in front of the intake manifold. Unplug the MAP sensor, remove it from the plastic holder (if you break it don't feel bad, GM introduced a revised part for that), twist the plastic holder 1/4 or so turn, remove it and the PCV is inside.

Re: PCV valve location

And, DON'T LOSE THE "O" RING!

I had one come in with an EGR related DTC that turned out to be a missing PCV "O" ring.

No - the '02 has the 3.5.....on my '00 3.5 it's right on top, on the intake manifold or cylinder head - can't remember which but it's very visible....not like the 3.8.
