Re: Old Vs New

stock for stock i'd wager my bets on the GSX....AWD and turbo? hell yeah. a front wheel V6 is gay...i still wonder why they dont do a RWD or AWD for that type of power.

The new one makes 10 less hp then the gsx, It has a higher drag co. But its alittle bit lighter, not much though. So the gsx will win, Then mr. gsx spends a few 100 on mods and is able to give the new one a head start and still win.

Re: Old Vs New

i think because mitsubishi came out with the evo that they had to do something totally different with the eclipes, if the new eclipse had a 4G63 in it nobody would buy the evo. I think the new eclipse is more like a redesigned 3000gt.

Re: Old Vs New

Once you leave DSM years, you are just buying another shitty import. Back to where turbo kits are 3000 dollars, the engines are crap, nothing is good.. screw it. If I won a new Eclipse it would be on ebay the next day. EVO's are the new DSM's. Stock, more potential than our cars... but still new and too expensive. I wish they didn't have so many useless doors, but once they are 5 years old, it might be a good car.
