93 gs-r that needs work

i just recently bought a 93 acura integra gs-r. the thing wont start, it needs a fuel pump/filter replacement...or so the previous owners said...anyway the thing has been sitting in the garage for over a year, but it was covered. are there some things i should be concerned about replacing because its been sitting so long?
