Gear selector/shift knob replacement
How do you remove the stock gear shift knob from the shaft on a 1988 Caddy Deville? I am trying to put on an aftermaket knob and am not worried about breaking the stock one.

Re: Gear selector/shift knob replacement
If it's like a Buick, there is a staple like pin in the front of the knob. Pry out the staple, and the knob should pull off.
