Question Dodge R/t 5.9

My freinds buddy wants to race and he has a dodge rt 5.9 how much hp is that pushing out, i have a third gen with a lt1 and i'm a pretty good driver so could i take him?

it would be close, not sure on the power it has but to be a rt 5.9 it has to be a lot. what model is it a new one with a hemi

If i'm not mistaken it's a brand spanking new one, my car is manual and his is automatic, plus shouldn't the weight make a difference.

you'll be good. you should take him no problem. ive ridden in one of those r/t's and it wasnt impressive, theyre too heavy...

14s maybe faster... is it stock?? and do you know where theres a pic of this truck on the net cause i think my buddy has this truck and with an exhaust and intake he ran a 15.8

ooh i just seen its stock. well my friend 95 z stock auto ran high 14s.. and 3rd gens are ligher so.....

first, the srt-10 is freakin beast. nothing can touch it.

second, the r/t dakota is not very cool. low to mid 15s sounds about right.

third, an LT1 fourth gen runs better than 15s in the quarter.

finally, the third gens are lighter than the fourth. fourth gens are the heaviest camaro built, even with all the plastic and fiberglass...
