Lowering Question
I am ready to lower my 2003 GTI with Eibach Springs. They say its aprx. 1.9" Front and 2" Rear....Question is am I going to have to replace the front sway bar or will it still work whithout hitting / rubbing on anything.
Also does anyone have pics of there car after a drop like I am doing ? Thanxs Red GTI |

Re: Lowering Question
no rubbing involved on stock wheels. Maybe on some am wheels like 18s or 19s

Hey RED, I lowered my GTi with APEX shocks and double coil-overs. They are adjustable, and are set at about 1.6 inch drop.
I have a gallery with pictures of my car, maybe you can get an idea from that. My rims are 17" and my tires are a 40 series (40mm). Have a look. Dave |

Re: Lowering Question
wanna lower it then uprate the springs and dampers, just springs will make the dampers degrade and eventually screw the whole chassis over.
Do it properly and uprate the whole lot before you end up killing yourself. |
