your wiring is screwed up...either 1. you didn't hook up the ignition wires properly... 2. the auto start is drawing power from a wire that is only hot when the key is on or 3. it's something else...lol
1. make sure you hooked up every wire that you need to the correct wire going to the ignition, when you hit the auto start does the car do anything...the auto start has to be able to turn the accessory power first before it can crank. 2. easy enough to check if you have a volt meter...is there power to the unit when the key is off 3. my auto start has a wire that attaches to the plug wires so it knows when the car is running, check that...i also have a hood pin switch that when connected disables the auto start so know one loses a finger when the car starts while your messing with the engine, check that too. good luck electrical stuff sucks

Re: Remote Starter problem pls help!!!!
You sure do have a factory immobilizer. You can use any in the link here but I would use either the 2nd or 3rd if you want to add OEM features to your remote start remotes. http://www.bypasskit.com/wizard.asp

Whoops, forgot that the link will not show your car automatically. Just put in the model and year and you'll see what I mean. DEI also makes #555h that will work as well. That one you should be able to find locally.

Re: Remote Starter problem pls help!!!!
i had a buddy of mine wire up the autostart for me without the bypass. All he did was wrap a coil of wire around the original key where the sensor is and then hook the end of the wires to the immbolizer input/output sensor. Not as easy as it sounds though, you'll have to fool around wit it for a bit. But it took us a good 1 hour to hour and a half to save 100 bucks.. =)

You know, you could have done it right for only about $40 using a 555u from DEI and a new key from Howard Keys. |

I have installed a remote start in my 96 accord. You may want to check for a 2nd ignition. Some cars like accords have 2nd ignition wires that you may have to hook the system up to
