Which would you prefer?

Out of the following cars and their respective overall traits such as, comfort, speed, handling, price...u know the whole nine yards, which do you prefer?

300Z TT
Supra TT
RX-7
RX-8
3000GT VR-4

all of these are the latest models

thanks

Re: Which would you prefer?

You might wanna try one a sub-forum for one of those cars to get a good reply. Your in the Eclipse/Laser/Talon forum, none of which are on your list. If you went to the 3000gt forum, the guys in there would be able to help you out better than we can down here.

it is a general question for an oppion for me. i posted it here because i drive a 98 talon, but if you do look closely at the question it is DSM related in the fact that the 3000GT VR-4 is a Mitsubishi car, which is a Diamond Star Motor.

Re: Which would you prefer?

i am guessing the point of posting it here is so that he doesn't get biased answers from people in 3000gt forum if he were to post the question there.

my opinion is supra. as far as i know... all the others requre a high extend of maintainance work. Rx-7 and 8 got its own problems of overheating not to mention the misfiring problems people been complaining about with the 8 while reving pass 6000. and last but not least... lets forget about our egos for a second. mitsubishi isn't exactly known for durability. truth hurts.

Re: Which would you prefer?

I'd get a supra... if i had $20,000 and wanted a 95 with 130,000+ miles, no traction, and parts that cost 5 times as much.

Why do you want a new car? I'd rather have a 500whp 10 second DSM than an 1200whp 12 second supra.

that is what i was thinking...

supra driver: i've got 900 whp

DSM driver: i just hacked my dump tube, wanna race?

supra driver: uhh... uhh... i can't get race gas around here...

Re: Which would you prefer?

here the bottom line..our 2Gs can be made VERY fast for a comparitively small amount of money. It is a TUNER'S car. it is easily moddable (again, comparing to other cars out there) and have a very solid paltform to work on. Even newbies like myself who 2 years ago never dreamt that they would understand what the hell a "wastegate" was, are now actively working on their cars and increasing their knowledge about how and what they can upgrade...which is why this forum rocks.

Those supercars mentioned are fast cars, they are considerably rare, and I would like to own one some day...ofcourse its not all about how many horses i can crunch outta my DSM...sometimes you do want another car ...I'm sold on mitsubishi so I'd get a VR-4, but the TT Supra looks awesome, is very comfortable from the inside and is fast...get what you want in the end. Your the one who'll be driving the car, not other people on the road

If I had to choose, I would take the RX-7.

Re: Which would you prefer?

ok iv always wanted a vr4 300gt so ill say that... but i aggree with shpyder that those are supercars with super price tags... and a eclipse or somthin of that sort is something relativly cheap that doesnt take a arm and a leg to get fast (well maybe a arm) so untill i get rich enough to not care how much i have in a car im stickin with finding me a gsx....
