Paint Job

About how much would it cost to get my Accord painted? Currently it is Heather Mist Metallic and I wanted to have it painted a metallic black.

It depends on where you go. I know for my car and the colors I want it would cost me about $1600. If you just want a regular black metalic paint then go to macco or something. You only pay about $200 and you get a $200 job. All paints have some metalic in it. It all just depends. My mom got her eclipse painted a couple of weeks ago, it was about $1200. But we knew the people so she paid $600

You get what you pay for...you can pay as little as $600-$800 but really it will be $1500-$2000 and up especially with a color change which will require all the door jams and other stuff painted if it done correctly. If you really want metallic black be careful...my accord is granada black pearl (factory honda) and it sucks...it always looks dirty because the pearl undertones are kind of a gold/brown color.
