Sounds like Casper the Friendly Gost has invaded your vehcile. No, seriuosly, I have similar problems in vehicles that have had some sort of water damage (i.e. flooding, etc.) Hopefully, this is not your problem, but sure sounds like something has corroded your electrical systems.

Re: A baffling weird problem need info

I once had a car that when I put the brakes on the interior dome light came on and it blew a fuse. I disconnected everything on the circuit and then hooked them back one at a time. In my case it was the wire to the trunk light that shorted out in the trunk hinge. Booger to find

Re: A baffling weird problem need info

Sounds like driveability test is needed. Let someone with electrical background scope this car. They will figure it out in a short period of time. You can always ask the service writer about the terms on the timeline of looking for the problem. Some places will say they will look for 3 hours & charge only 2. It comes with the territory when dealing with electrical. The shop knows they have to give a little break when it comes to electrical (driveability dept.) so just ask!
