93 dakota 3.9 magnum wont start

well, i bought this truck off a friend who was having problems with it, the problems he had were it would stall when he stopped and it would pop through the carb and generaly run like crap, finaly after he blew a head gasket he gave up, so i bought it off him and figured i would give it a whirl, well i tore the whole top end down and replaced all the gaskets from the heads up, put everything back together and to my surprise now it wont start, it will turn over but wont even sputter, i checked to make sure it was getting fuel to the injectors and went back over my work about 3 times to make sure i didnt miss anything but everything seems in order. if i dump gas in the carb it will start but only for a sec or 2. i checked the codes and im getting three, 12 memory standby power lost, 23 throttle body temp sensor circuit, 24 throttle position sensor. ok well i changed the throttle sensor and from what i can see my truck dont have a throttle body temp sensor. so im very lost, please help

You mentioned that you checked to make sure that it was getting fuel to the injectors, was there?

sorry, yes there was, plus i forgot to mention that when i have the key in the on position i can hear a whinning noise coming from the smec or engine control module, whatever one wants to call it. i just wanted to mention also that before i took it apart, the truck ran, ran bad but it did run. this is why im so confused. im 100% sure that i did everything by the book on this. i dont know, its driving me nuts.

I would check for power at your injectors with key on,should have 12v at one wire,PCM pulses ground to fire injector, pulse could be checked with a noid light,if both are preasent I would remove fuel rail and remove injectors from it to see if they are plugged up with dirt or rust from inside the rail it's fairly common, this might explain why it ran bad before.
