Trailblazer Lights
i just installed xenon headlamps on my 2002 trailblazer, when i turn my alarm off at night the headlights turn on. how do i disable this so my lights will stay off when i deactivate my alarm?

You can do this through the owner's manual or through the message center on the dash I believe. It's been awhile since I have messed with it.

I think the perimeter lights are turned off through the DIC (driver information center). You hit one of the buttons (maybe info)to cyle through options until you locate permeter light, then toggle on or off.
Something you can help me with, how do the headlamp bulb come out. Manual does not mention this, and underhood looks confusing. Looking at the back of the lense, I cannot see a socket corresponding to headlamp, are they removed from the front? |

The Owner's Manual describes how to turn off the perimter lighting. It is a confusing series of toggling the ignition switch and holding and releasing the high beam switch, but it's in there and it works.
