Meteorology

What are some good schools(college...duh) to go to school to be a meteorologist. Not meaning the guy that sets in front of the camera and doesnt know squat. But the real guys that do the work...Such as Dr.Greg Forbes on the weather channel? Also, what exactly would you get your masters or doctorates in for something like this?

i had to do a research paper about being a meteorologist when i was in 8th grade cuz i wanted to do that, tho in all my effort to find info about being one, i got discouraged to be one, some one like Dr Greg Forbes probably went to college around 10 years for that.

plus entry level positions dont get paid much for being a meteorologist.

PennState has a good meteorology department. The forecasters dont necessarily lack knowledge in meterologly. Another good department that I'm guessing would be certain colleges in Texas, becasue the HQ of NOAA is located there, i believe. Not sure though.
