Question 77 Nova Restoration

I recently bought a 1977 Nova. The interior needs quite a bit of work and i want to know if anyone has anything for sale or if anyone can recommend a good, but not too expensive, carpet upholstery shop in Las Vegas. If you have any advice please feel free to express it, I could really use the help. I'm a girl who doesn't really know a whole lot about cars so it would be awesome if you could tell me what you think. It also has an idle problem where when I break and then gas it dies. If anyone could give me some advice I'd really aprreciate it. Thanks so much!!!

Re: 77 Nova Restoration

Try a Carb rebuild kit. and adjust the idle on the carb. might wanna check if you have a auto choke and see if the spring is worn out, like my 78.

Re: 77 Nova Restoration

Thanks so much for your help, I took your advice and found out what was wrong. I guess the air filter's screw was too long and it was pushing the choke open and that's why I had trouble starting it I guess. I bought a rebuild kit and so far it's worked pretty good but if anyone has any other advice I would like to hear from you!! Thank you!

77 nova resto

read your post...still looking for a carpet...try "auto custom carpets"-I believe they have a website. I have their carpet and mats in my car-nice product. As far as interior-good luck-try any gm x-body...skylark, apollo, omega.
