ebay intake?

Can you use one of those $10 ebay intakes? I know there is a plug going into the stock airbox, so is there a place to put that in the ebay intakes? I dont remember what the plug hooks up to, but it is important and it needs an acurate read... Thanks!

Re: ebay intake?

I'm not sure what you're referring to by "$10 ebay intakes". Want to post a link? Chances are if it is an intake pipe, and a filter and adapter, it will fit right on in place of the stock airbox, using the stock MAF.

Re: ebay intake?

I paid $30 for mine off ebay. Looks great, comes with a kick-ass filter, and works like a charm. Like CBell said tho, make sure you check the feedback. MOST IMPORTANT.

Re: ebay intake?

I got my intake and it looks great and works wonderfully, but the mass air flow sensor wouldn't fit in it... I posted another thread on it, but I was seeing if anybody that posted in this could give me some advice.
Thanks!

Are there any smaller MAFS I could buy? Cuz i do like this intake, and I dont like spending too much money. And since I broke the original mass air flow sensor, i'll need to buy a new one anyways...
If I leave it out, what would happen?
It seems like I'm loosing a lot of miles per gallon... I'm not sure if it's because of the MAFS, or maybe my injectors are clogging or something, but would the MAFS effect that?
