Car Died...

Well yesterday just sucked, got a flat tire, put the donut on, ran some errands, when i started going after a red light i heard a pop/bang kind of sound, almost metallic sounding, no idea what but it sounded like it came from under the car, and my car wouldn't go into gear. I can move my shifter but it won't engage. Looked under the hood real quick and I noticed one fo the starter bolts (the one closest to the front of the car) was out and underneith the starter. I'm gonna go look deeper later, but any ideas?

Re: Car Died...

starter bolt shouldnt have anything to do with it. Check your shift linkage first.

Re: Car Died...

Check the clutch cable too. Also check the adjustment.
