My car is a 2000 integra GSR with 60,000 miles on it, i mean should i even boost it with the homemade turbo and if so please let me kno exactly what i need. Re: turbo question for GSR

The first question you need to answer. Is how much power are you looking to make. Secondly, what is your budget? Finally, you should do a lot of reasearch.

Re: turbo question for GSR

You can always piece together a kit.
Ebay has turbos all the time, and a .57 trim t3/t4 will do very well on your motor. 8psi, slightly larger injectors, and an SAFC will work well. Get a decent intercooler, and make your downpipe and IC piping. Get the oil lines, and you're good to go.

Manifold 100-600
Turbo - 200-500
IC - 200-400
IC pipes - 150
downpipe - 100
oil lines - 50-80
injectors - 20-400
SAFC 200-400
BOV - 20-300
Wastegate 0-300
misc fittings, couplers, and other expences - 200

You can put together a relatively potent, and clean setup for under 2g's.

You can also go all out race ready, and spend 4g's on a good turbo kit.

Re: turbo question for GSR

I agree with Cronic. Make sure you take you time and do a lot of research on the stuff you want. I picked together a turbo kit for under $3000. It took me about 3 months deciding what I wanted to get for my GSR. Good Luck.

Re: turbo question for GSR

Jhood23 ... Cronic forgot to mention that you will need to set a side some money for a new exhaust. You will need to get 2.5" which will work but 3" will be the best.

dont forget tuning unless you plan on tunning it yourself which runs the risk of blowing your motor
