Car Just Stopped

My wife and i where going down the highway doing about 55 or 60 mph and out of the blue the car just stopped. first i checked the battery found it wasnt that, my 2nd thought was the timing chain but unsure. all my van does is have that sound like it wants to start but doesnt. could ya pls help me with this.

Same thing happened to me not too long ago. Strted out as engine harder and harder to turn over, then one day it just stopped while I was driving down the road.

Turns out it was the coil. Might be worth a look-see.
