99 Grand Am LOCKED RADIO!!!

Hey,,, i just purchased a 99 grand am and the radio was locked... Well, i was able to figure everything out through that 1-800 number and it worked fine until i changed the battery again.
When it locked up again,,, i tried some codes i thought i had remembered but then all of a sudden it goes into InOp mode. I cant get it out of inop to enter a code. What should i do? I tried leaving the ignition in accessory for and hour, and unplugged the batt overnight. It's still in inop.

get the code from a dealership using your Vin# and WRITE IT DOWN.

i cant enter the code even if i had it!
Its in INOP mode!!! HELP!

you gotta wait an hour before you try again(you get like 2 tries an hour I cant remember) then put in the proper code. Also if the dealer tries to charge you for the code tell them its your car therefore its your code and you are entitled to it free! lol then givem your vin number and they will get it for you free.

I don't think so, its not free! True it is your code but you forgot it so its your problem. Time is money you take up my time you need to pay me for it. Do what Mark says and you will be kicked out of the dealership.

What is the 800 # for the radio codes, I can do everything but need the number to call I lost power and the need to unlock radio THANKS
