emissions

somewhere down the line i'm gonna remove all the emissions from my 5.0. what do i have to do computer wise to make it run right? i heard you can get as far as having only the EGR valve without the computer leaning it out. i can get my computer reflashed by a local guy. how much can i get away with without screwing with the computer?

i just saw this device on ebay last night that plugs into the egr plug. somehow it fools the computer into thinkinh the egr is opening and closing when it should . then if you wanted you could take the egr of and block the passage or just let sit there . im pretty sure the smog pump could go and not make a difference.its listed under 87-93 mustang 5.0 egr simulator/eliminator device.
