Question 93 Dodge Shadow Stalling

My car keeps stalling everytime I accelerate and then press on the brake. I have no clue what it could be. I have tried cleaning my choke that didn't work. And nothing else comes to my head so if anyone would know what to do please help me.
Thanks

Re: 93 Dodge Shadow Stalling

buy a repair manual, somewhere on the throttle body is a device that controls air into the throttle body, sounds like yours is clogged or stuck, by the way, it does not have a choke

Have your oxygen sensor checked. I had the same problem and after I replaced the oxygen sensor the problem disappeared.

Re: 93 Dodge Shadow Stalling

also, when you said it stalls when you accelerate, does it stall right when it accelerates and when you come to a stop or what?

have you checked you fault codes'?

try putting in your key, dont turn it all the way on, but until your check oil light comes on, key it this way quickly three times, on the fourth time hold it there and count the blinks. write down the codes,
it should tell you what is wrong. It sounds like it could be your speed distance sensor or oxygen sensor. you need a special tool for the oxygen sensor, looks like a deep socket with a slit up the side for your wires to fit through, cost around $13.00. at kragan or autozone. Id try the fault codes first though.
