radio problem

well, here is the story. i let my woman take the car to get groceries, well, she decided to be nice, and get it washed. the car wash place didnt tell here to turn off the radio. it got broke. so today, i had the replacement mast, and then the chord inside snapped. now, is there excess in the motor, or do i now need a whole new antenna?? also, while doing all this, the radio now doesnt work. i had the whole antenna out, and drove the car to notice the radio doesnt work, so i put the the antenna backe in and the radio still doesnt work. i have checke the fuse for the radio, and its good, but still no radio. please help. thanks.

did you hook up the antenna wire
or does the radio option not work on the radio
best thing to do get a new one i there is always one on ebay

This is just an FYI. Not sure if this applies here but it may be helpful to others.

For those looking for GM Radio Theftlock Bypass instructions, here you go...

1. Press and hold presets 2 & 3 for about 10 seconds until the first 3 digits of the display code are displayed.
2. Write the numbers down.
3. Press the AM/FM button, write down the next 3 numbers.
4. Call 1-800-537-5140, when asked, enter 202107, press the # button and enter the 6 digit code from the radio, you will get an unlock code, write it down.
5. Go back to the car, press the HR button and set the first 2 numbers, then press minute button and set the next two last numbers, press AM FM button, SEC should be displayed, turn on radio.

To remove customers code, repeat step 5. you should see --- on radio face, the code is now out of the radio.

any ideas on why my radio isnt working now?? i have the aftermarket radio in, with no blown fuses, atleast not in the drivers fuse box. are there any other radio fuses anywhere in the car?? please help, i need my sounds. thanks.

also, i have not installed or received the new antenna yet.

does anyone think that the power antenna relay could have gone bad?? i was at auto zone today but the part is $15 bucks, and i dont want to pay it if its not the problem. all fused in the car are good, checked them, new antenna is hooked up and installed, grounded, and connected to the factory antenna wire, and still no go. pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese help.
