Resident Evil: Apocalypse

Please allow me to say this, and only this about this film:

WAIT FOR IT TO COME TO VIDEO

I was VERY Disappointed with this film. I thought the first one was actually pretty cool, ya know? So, I figure this one should be alright, seeing as the end of the first one made it seem quite close to Resident Evil 2 the video game.

I mean, I was waiting and waiting for the movie to take on the plot of the game (which would have been better) and it never happened. Not to mention some of the acting. The woman cast as Jill, though she was REALLY hot, couldn't act to save her life, which took away further from an already dying film.

I don't know, I guess I'm just getting rid of my anger. What shit.

The movie was adapted from the game, they wernt gonna make the exact game into a movie. If they did that why would we see it when we could play the game. IT was a awsome movie I thought alot of stuff was actually tooken from the game like the helicopter scene ( RE:Code veronics) Only part that was dumb was Nemissis being good. I say it was a awsome movie.

I'm going to wait for video, but I never played the game so I can't be dissapointed for it not following the game.

I never said exact, I said close. If it had been close, I would have probably enjoyed it more. Also, "tooken" is not a word.

Re: Resident Evil: Apocalypse

I'm gonna see it. right as soon as I beat that spoiler about Nemisis being good out of my brain...it does make sense though, considering who the abomination was made out of.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the entire Nemisis creature/program/idea from RE:3, anyway?

Well, technically, it starts in RE:2.

Re: Resident Evil: Apocalypse

I want to see it badly. I loved what Marilyn Manson did with the first movies soundtrack. Totally rocked, but I fear that the 2nd movie won't be anything like the first.

Re: Resident Evil: Apocalypse

I'd hope the second is different from the first...otherwise, why would i pay to see it when I have the first on VHS right here beside me!

Re: Resident Evil: Apocalypse

I mean, the first was quiet and dark at the start and picked up the action and kept its grounds as a Sci-Fi non-fiction, horror story, atleast in my eyes. I don't want to see it turn into one of those sequals that doesn't even look like its from the same series altogether and has people flying around doing weird stuff turning it into an Action, Fiction type movie that lost its grounds with reality.

Oh I know, I was just giving you a hard time. Playing RE:3 and RE:2, it's almost like the two games were happening at the same time, but the reason they are split (obviously) is that RE:2 had the part where the nemesis drops in and RE:3 begins occuring a little thereafter (or at least that's how I've percieved it from the chain of events in the game).

Atleast this movie wont be like the one that they were gonna make. First couple of scenes were just like RE:1 and at the end it was like but it got really boring and stupid I heard during the middle. All you saw was people shooting zombies ( chris and jill).

Re: Resident Evil: Apocalypse

Actually it was a lot better than the first. I mean what do you really expect from a zombie movie adapted from a game. I went in wanting to see zombies and hot chicks and cool guns and I never left disapointed.
