new paint??

Does anyone know what the average cost of repainting a car? I have a 98 accord coupe, has an eggplant color, and part of the paint peeling and need to replace the hood, i wana change the color on it, also does anyone know of any autosport store in the houston area?? I need to get a hood but problem is shipping cost are high, please let me know

That's a tough one. A lot depends on what has to be done, removing old paint by going down to metal, how many layers, type of paint, etc. If you change the color are you going to have the engine bay repainted? There's always Maaco
