Engine shutdown
Hi,
My '95 Dogde Intrepid is acting up! The engine will shutdown without any warnings what so ever - as if some one had turned the key! Sometimes it starts up right away and sometimes not. When I try to start the engine it is as if there is no sparks in the plugs. The starter runs fine, but there is no hint of the engine starting. When it finally starts it is as if nothing happened! The engine sound perfect! If have had 3 different mechanics to look at it - no luck! The fuel pump runs fine, I've had the fuel filter replaced and the injection system cleaned. Since the engine shuts down randomly (and never does so when in the hands of a mechanic) no one can help locate the problem! I'm 99 % sure it's a loose electrical connection somewhere, I just don't know where! Has any of you heard of cars with the same problem?? |
