I ahave an 04 SL AWD Murano and my radio reception is bad too. I live in the Suburbs outside Chicago, IL. Had a new radio put in and it is not any better. The one at the dealer sounded crappy as well. I think Nissan has a problem here.

Radio in the Murrano is an embarrasment

If you think your alone with regards to POOR radio reception on the Muranos, well think again. My dealer put a new one in tot replace the orignial equip. The new radio is just as bad as the original. GRRR

You would think that the engineers at Nissan would step up to the plate and fix this embarrasment.

I can tell you this. I Love the Murano, but am very dissappointed in the radio. You would think that a $30-38K automobile would at least have a radio that works. Or is this some "Satelite Radio" marketing strategy.

Anyway, I have a 2003 and I will probably buy an after-market Satelite Radio and say "bye bye " to the general air waves.

That is one of the reasons I am looking at the FX35! My BMW X5 has had 2 radios and six service visits to correct this. I am about 30 minutes west of Chicago.

Re: Bad Radio Reception

I am in the NorthEast and my 93 Sable Wagon had better radio reception than the Murano. I took it in and they had other complaints !
