Engine doesn't seem to be getting any gas. When I turn the key, I don't hear the normal "humming" sound of the fuel pump. Does anyone know where fuel pump is located and what's involved with replacement? Also, do you think it could be a relay/fuse instead of a defective pump, and if so, where the relay might be located? Thanks in advance.

Re: 99 ES 300 Possible Fuel Pump Problem
You should hear the fuel pump run ( it's in the tank)if you take off the fuel cap, place your ear to the opening and have someone turn the key to on.The pump is accessable from behind the back seat from an access hole. The relays are either in the engine compartment fuse/relay box or the one in the passenger comp.It will be noted in the owners manual or on the cover of the box.
