Re: hmm...

best way to see what your car would fetch on the open market is to pick up the news paper, or some other local paper or magazine selling cars, and look at equivilent cars to get an idea. also ebay is a great research tool. check out other V6 camaros of that year and see what they are going for. then price yours accordingly.

Re: hmm...

if you are gonna make a decision that is going to cost you a few thousand dollars, like buying a new car, then you should probably invest the $30 to make sure its a good decision. If you don't have $30 then maybe you shouldn't be buying a new car. Also keep in mind Carfax is not the only thing you want to check out, it won't tell you anything about the condition of the car.

Re: hmm...

If you don't want advice then maybe you shouldn't ask for it. Your exact words on the first post is... "I dont have the cash to pay for a 30 day account," and thus, my advice was not to spend a few thousand that you don't have.
Secondly, I wanted to let you know that Carfax doesn't tell all, because a lot of people like you who spell appreciated "appriceted" and Carfax as "carfex" don't know the difference between their cousin and their wife. I was just tryin to help YOU out.

Re: hmm...

I'm really not cold-hearted, I just don't respond well to bitter sarcasm. So did you buy it?

Re: hmm...

geeeze, play nice guys, but i will say instantkevin has a good point, if you cant pay for the report, you shouldnt be buying the car, if its that you dont have a credit card, i can relate, find a friend that does, give them the cash, and use their credit card to pay for it. thats what i do.
