what kind of oil in 93 4.0 engine

hi, I searched and couldn't find anyhting . and I also don't have the owners manual.

can i use 5w30?

i would use 10w/30 not 5w/30 and if theres any old maint logs in the veh from the last owner i would check it for what they were using and stay with that if i could somtimes changing the brand and weight of what it is used to can SOMTIMES make a veh use more oil hope this helps

use 5w-30

I have a 95' grand cherokee laredo with the 4.0 the book says use 5w-30
if it has low mileage you might want to consider switching over to synthetic.

I use Valvoline Max-Life 5W30 in my '94 JGC w/4.0L.
