help with engine swap

hows it goin guy? i have a question for ya. im new and i figured this would be a good spot for an answer. can someone help me out with a engine swap. i have a 99 v6 and want to put a 4.6 v8 in it. what do i need as for the tran (auto) ? will the v8 bolt to the old trans or do i need a new one. im not sure. how much of a pain in the ass would this all be? im not looking for in deep details, just a quick over view from what you guys think. please help me with some info so i can make my stang come alive. thanks

i could be worng but im pretty sure the trans will mount up . other than wiring harness and computer it shouldnt be too hard to do , especialy since the car was offered with a 4.6 little or no problems should arise.

No the v6 tranny will not bolt up to the 4.6. Unless ford has changed for the 99+ cars which I highly doubt...
You will need a new tranny, rearend, motor mounts, wiring harnesses, computer, ect.
