March 88C to 84C
I finally found a cheap ($3!
 ) March 88C Indy car for my newest project: To convert it to the Pennzoil March 84C Z7 Special that won the Indianapolis 500 in 1984, driven by Rick Mears. I've started assembling the engine and painting up the driver figure, but reference photos are VERY hard to find (for either of these cars!) Anyone know of any good references? Or what changes were made to the cars from 84-88?

Well in looking for more references, I actually found where the REAL car is! It's on display in the Penske Racing Museum in Arizona. Too far that's a day's travel by plane
 Anyone out there want to go take pics for me?  As for pics of the progress, I can upload sme bad webcam pics if you want Here's the car in 1984:

You're best bet it to get one of the Bill Jorgenson's transkits. You can get to his stuff on the www.indycals.com website. It isn't the greatest, but it definitely is a good start.
