Re: Need Help again?....
oh and by the way Im also in the process of removing the paint off my CRX, Is there a way to remove the paint other then sandig it? I was taking the paint off my patio stairs with some gooie clear jell. let it sit there for like about a min or 2 and i used a spatula to take it off and whaala paint came off? I was wondering if you guys know if they have this kind of stuff to remove paint from cars?

well, about the cv joint kits or whatever,
you can go to your nearest automotive store or manufacturer & get'em, but I would take a fast look on ebay first, and for removing the paint, they sell paint/aircraft remover at any automotive store,wal-mart.... but I recommend sanding it down, the paint remover tends to wanna burn my arms even when its not spraying on me! also it would take a lot of it,but it would work!

Re: Need Help again?....
yes i agree - sanding would be the best way to go for removing the paint - if you sand blast it it will go down to bare metal . an you dont want that because the car has a few coats under the prim. that act as a factor sealer an sand blasting destroys them. so hand sanding would be the safest way to. plus you will have better results.
