A tip for your water pump leak

For the past 6 months I have had a small puddle form in the garage under the waterpump. About a tablespoon overnight. Mechanic said pump was failing........I took the aircleaner out and saw that one mounting bolt was wet. Put a metric wrench on it, and turned it ever so little and NO MORE LEAK! Could have cost a bunch had I not been dubious. Hope it helps.
Now, who knows how to replace a wheel sensor without replacing the hub?

I would continue to keep looking down on the ground (garage).
when the seal breaks loose in the water pump it will show the mechanic
how much life is left. So...keep an eye out OK? also keep you eye on the Temperature gage for awhile.

It's not possible to replace the speed sensor without the hub. In this car the speed sensor is magnetic. Using magnetic inductance this sensor makes a voltage spike every time one of the little gear teeth looking things inside the hub goes by, making a sort of sine wave.

It's not like it's just a little electronic thingie that's epoxied in for some dumb reason or something similar, but is actually part of the metal unit (well, half of it is anyway).
