Few problems w/Regal Custom 3800

Hello,
I was doing a search and stumbled onto this site. I have a few different problems with my car. 1 Tail lights don't work, the only thing that comes on is the 3rd stop light, turn signals and reverse lights. 2 All dash lights are out. 3 A couple of days ago smoke came out of the steering column, behind the steering wheel. 4 Power antenna doesn't go up or down, stays in the middle. 5 Driver side power window won't open. I don't have much experience and I'm wondering if these can be taken care of on my own, or if I should take it into a shop. Also, I want to put in a new stereo, but I can't figure out how to remove the old radio from behind the glove box. Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for the stock stereo system.
One last thing, I've read many things on the web about how to remove a door panel, but none have been for a regal similar year to mine, can anyone help with that?
Sorry to make this so long, I just have a lot on my list for this car.
