Fender Removal

Help, has anybody removed the fender on a 97 Burb. I'm changing out the front fenders with Glassworks Unlimited flared fenders. I think I've taken 10 bolts off and the darn thing still doesn't budge. I have a manual that I bought at Autozone but it isn't worth a darn (grainy picts and incomplete instructions). The only bolts I haven't taken off are the hood bracket bolts. Does anyone know if the hood has to be taken off?

check bolts on underside of fender hood probabally will need to come off
