Re: 93 Prelude Si vs. 93 Prelude vtec

92096 Prelude Si has a 2.3 DOHC non-vtec engine with 160hp and 156 ft/lbs of torque. The vtec has 190hp and 158 ft/lbs of torque. The Si is still pretty quick, but I'd say that even an Integra GSR would beat a Prelude Si. If you're looking to street race, go with the vtec, hands down.

well Prelude Si's is pretty quick but does seem to lack it when compared to the VTEC model...tho I heard Si's a lot better for turbo if that's one of ur future modd's

Re: 93 Prelude Si vs. 93 Prelude vtec

I raced a type R integra with my 92 SR(canadian version of the Si) and it beat me but not by a bunch. I found that my Sr is fairly fast, could be faster, but for just city driving it's good enough for anything you would ever need. But for racing definatly go for the vtec.
