4g63 neon?

what is the motor code for the 99 R/T? is it 420a? i heard it was 4g63 ( eclipse motor non- turbo) let me know

All neons are 420a's. They share a common block with the 4G63. Mitsubishi does their own thing with the head.

Dodge does not have a 420a engine. That is Mitsubishi's engine designation for their DOHC which was purchased from Chrysler. Chrysler's DOHC engine code is ECC and NOT 420a. The 4g63 is Mitsubishi's turbo engine and has nothing in common the neon engine.
