rough ride

first off my cars rides really rough . i mean even the smallest bump seems like a crater. just wondering if this is a characteristic of mustangs . the guy i got it from didnt have it long . so he didnt know what all was done to it before he got it . he said he thinks they may have put lowering springs in the front . it doesnt look like it though.

Second i am planing to install a tube k-member a-arms and coil overs . Has anyone had first hand experience with the ride quality . I see alot of manufactuers claim their product is tough enough for street use . If anyone knows for sure let me know . I'm looking at the D+D or the QA1 brands for my 87

Welcome to the marvelous world of the Mustang. Keep in mind that there is no independent rear suspension in the Mustang (Except the 99 and up Cobra). It's not exactly a very sophisticated set-up. That's what makes it so great for drag racing. Every Mustang that lacks the IRS has a pretty rough ride. It also depends on what you consider rough. I would look under the car and see if if still has the stock suspension.
