Red face

Well..I guess one should not speak so quickly..for now after bragging ..my Caprice is hard to start..dies a couple of times before running..dies upon accelaration..but then will begin running fine!! I think all is well after it gets going..then ..bam ..engine dies in the middle of traffic..no power ..no brakes..yikes !! Had plugs changed..oil changed..new pcv...air filter ..etc..now check engine light stays on..and problem continues..HELP !!

Re: 91 Caprice Classic

What codes are you getting to cause the CES light?

Sounds like a grounding problem with the fuel pump relay and or fuel pump itself to me. But without the codes it's hard to tell.....
