What size are the speakers?

Got another question about my eclipse. Its a 2000 RS model.

What sizes are the factory speakers? Just checked mine out to see that they were not the infinity speakers.. but nasty cardboard ones.. So I need to change them before I put in my subs.

Looks like the back speakers are 6x9s? and the fronts 6 1/2s?

If I change the factory HU to another brand will I loose the remote display completely? Or will it still work as a clock & light up?

Has anyone tryed using the factory HU with a Line-out Converter going to an Amp for subs? How did it sound?

Thanks!

Matt.

Go to crutchfield.com and enter your car. It will show you the size and compatible speakers.

Re: What size are the speakers?

Also, if you cant find it anywhere there (i know u already did tho), call ircuit City or Best Buy. I work at Circuit City and we have books that tell you every speaker for every car. Just a thought
