Hi i was wonder why my 86 gl is idling so badly, it idles but stalls and sputters only when idleing though, i already used a carb kit on it and will rev, tottaly fine all the vacum lines seem to be connected and iv fidled with the idleat the front of the carb like 100 times the only way i can get it to idle nicely is if it is around 1400-1500rpm

Re: Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a bad egr valve will cause stall at idle, check it out and the vacuum lines to it. disconnect the egr and plug the line and see if the car runs any better. if so then replace the EGR valve
