What's tha best car

Hey,

I was wondering i am about to buy a car and most likly a street car and i was wondering what would be the best car or the fastest for my money no more that 450 that goes for off road to i perfer street but i wouldnt mind having a big truck or something.
Help me out

It depends on what you want it for. If you want a drifter than look in the drifting thread that has been stickied at the top.

You dont exactly want speed with drifting, you want torque. Otherwise you sit doing donuts.

Why the hell does everyone want gas? I've owned them...woop-di-doo I pay an extra $200 to have a farting noise (that I can make myself), and hours of maintence.

Also, nitros are horrible for drifting because of the weight ratio, and you go through clutches like its candy.

I just don't understand why people want nitro so bad. What's wrong with having electric? You can get them up to the same speed as a nitro and their easier to repair.

Sooooooooo true, and mike is right as well, nitros pretty much suck for drifting, id say get the yokomo drift kit and if u can, pop in a brushless, prolly one of the best drift setups ive ever seen, and if you got money to burn get the Yokomo SSG chasis + brushless

Ok do you have to charge electric and how long do you have to charge it? I.ve heard around here you want nitro I don't know I ask yall. and yall start making fun of my grammer and stuff. I mean damn I didn't think yall cared really I mean I know yall can read and I know yall know what it say's. So electric is faster huh? Can u change the bodies to like saleens and trucks and stuff. I mean I don't know I race quad's and car's trying out knew hobbies that I don't know anything about but some day I will just like all my hobbies. Well I want reliablity so what should I go with and I want speed and i would also like to drift but I don't want it just for drifting.
and Gtmike sorry I had like a radio shack car and i thought all electric were the same. so i wanted to try out gas. but if theres electric cars that can charge for like 5 mins and ride for like an hour then tell me about it. I hope this wasn't offensive wasn't ment to be if it offends you then I guess deal with it or you bann me.

Electrics are fully interchangeable, my batts take 15minutes to charge. I get 10-15minute runs, by the time Im done running I have another batt fully charged.

There are no fast cars, just fast drivers.

If you are new I suggest getting something easier to drive.

Nitros are nice and all I have it but it takes an expert to know what you are doing. If you are a beginner I suggest getting a HPI rtr gas.

Electric are nice as well, quiet and fast but just does not last as long in terms of laps.

Even electric there are novice and expert cars. where you really need to know what you are doing.
