New keyless entry problem/2000 silverado

I have read all the keyless entry programming problems and have tried all suggestions I could find on this site. My problem is a little different because I complete the reprogramming procedures and both remotes work for approximately 10 - 15 locks/unlocks and then quit working until I reprogram the remotes again. Any idea what might be causing this problem would be appreciated.
